U.S. Army PFC Stephen P. Snowberger III
was 18 years old, and from Lexington, North Carolina.
Stephen was born on September 4, 1987
in Bear, Delaware.
He began his service in the U.S. Army on November 26, 2004.
He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.
He was deployed with his unit to Iraq on November 5, 2005.
Stephen was killed instantly in Baghdad, Iraq on on May 11, 2006; when an improvised explosive device was detonated near his HMMWV during combat patrol operations.
Stephen is survived by his loving family

His Brother: James Graham, 24
His Foster Brother: Matt Krajewski, 26
In Lexington, N.S., his Mom and Dad own and operate North
Main Gifts and Fragrances on the square, next to Conrad &
Hinkle and reside in Silver Valley.
